Public Notice of 2026 Mosquito Season Pesticide Application

The Camano Island Mosquito Control District will be conducting mosquito abatement activities including pesticide applications as needed.

The approximate date range of applications; March 2026 through October 2026. Aerial applications will also be used in some areas.

Pesticides and active ingredients planned for use;

1. VectoMax WSP - Bacillus thuringiensis, subsp. Israelensis
2. Metalarv XRP - (S) Methoprene 
3. Duplex G - Bacillus thuringiensis, subsp. Israelensis, (S) Methoprene
4. MetaLarv - (s-TP)-Methoprene.

Notice of 2026 Budget Workshop 

The Board of Trustees for Camano Island Mosquito Control District will be having a Budget workshop/hearing on October 16, 2025 to discuss the 2026 budget. This will be immediately following the regular meeting. Board meetings are from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM but may end earlier.
